We are having a BBQ soon for a close friend's birthday; it has become quite the attraction with big plans for games and food. The guest list is decently sized, but many people have never been to our house. Living on a one-way road makes this slightly irritating for people, who usually end up passing by. They can't just quick turn around - they have to go around the block and through three stop lights.

What would attract people's attention besides balloons and a sign poked into our yard? A big hanging vinyl banner with the birthday girl's photo! Not only will people notice our house but it will have the added benefit of embarrassing our honored guest.

We created a customized banner with our party's theme colors (pink, orange and black), added an endearing but silly picture of the birthday girl and had "Let's Party" written on it.

Already thinking of way to use the vinyl banner after the party is over.
